Round Four of the 2023 NT Motorkhana Championship will be something new with a tribute to The Simpsons!  Courses will be themed to The Simpsons, adding an extra element of fun to the event! Register now to help minimise wait times at the event.  Entries will be accepted at the event until close of scrutineering at 6.30pm. RESCHEDULED FROM 2 APRIL TO 21 MAY Round One of the 2023 circuit racing series will now be held on Sunday 21 May AFTER Round Two which is 29 & 30 April and 1 May.  Round One is the Ross Hanning Memorial in keeping with NAMSC's tribute to Ross and his contributions to the club. Street cars are able to take part in the track day (lapsprint) sessions, giving you a chance to have a shot at the Hidden Valley circuit as used in the V8 Supercar series. MOVED FROM SUNDAY 21 MAY TO FRIDAY 19 MAY Round Three of the 2023 NT Motorkhana Championship has been changed to another Friday night event due to an opening in the venue calendar.  Friday night events are always hugely popular, so this is expected to be another great one! This event will include the side-by-side courses originally scheduled for Round Two, so drivers can compete directly with one another and specators will get a fantastic show. Please ensure you read and understand the event Supplementary Regulations and 2023 NT Motorkhana Championship Standing Regulations before entering, including checking all dates and times in the included event schedule. NAMSC will be holding a general meeting for all club members from 5.00pm on Friday 19 May at Hidden Valley Raceway.   This meeting will be held prior to the start of the motorkhana event and is an opportunity for all club members to have their say, ask questions of the committee, and be involved in the direction of NAMSC.   All members are encouraged to attend.

Three days of motor racing action over May Day long weekend (Saturday 29 April, Sunday 30 April, Monday 1 May).   The mighty V8 TA2 Racing Australia series will be holding Round Two of its 2023 season in conjunction with NAMSC. Join us at Darwin Bowls and Social Club. The Committee would like to invite all members, family and officials to a relaxed night of Bare Foot Bowling. Come down, have a feed and a beer and chat in preparation of the upcoming year ahead. The Committee will discuss the year ahead including events and celebrating some of our volunteers.

Precision! Power! Pace! Megakhana is back for 2023! For those of you not familiar with the format, Megakhana is a mix of motorkhana courses (Precision), straight line acceleration and braking tests (Power) and short sprint courses (Pace). This event is spread over two days and allows motorkhana regulars a chance to get a taste of the Hidden Valley circuit.  It also allows those familiar with the circuit to try motorkhana, and each to play to their strengths in a fun competition. Hidden Valley is open for business again on Sunday 12 March with the 2023 Test & Tune Track Day! Bring your race cars and blow the dust out, tweak suspension tuning and test a new race line ready for the first race of the year in April. If you've got a hankering to take your road car around the race track, come and give it a go in the lapsprint track day category.  You'll need a helmet compliant with Australian Standards (e.g. a road legal motorbike helmet), long sleeves & pants and covered shoes.  Your car will need to pass a basic safety inspection and a Motorsport Australia licence and NAMSC membership (Day or higher) to participate.
